What if I have registered for camp before Atlanta History Center transitioned to virtual offerings?

What if I am a new registrant?

Besides going virtual, we have reduced the cost, updated the length of camp, revamped a few of our offerings, and focused on target age groups.
How much is each camp?
$200 for Atlanta History Center members at the Family Membership level $250 for not-yet-members
Each camp will come with an interactive camp kit that will be available at Atlanta History Center during a designated curbside-pickup time.
What are your age groups?
For history camps, we have two age groups: 6-8 and 9-11. Our writing camps have one age group: 9-13.
What time will your camps be offered?
The live camp session will be offered via Zoom Monday-Friday for 1.5-2 hours. Campers can choose to attend one session-either from 9:30-11am or 12:30-2pm.
What are your camp limits?
In effort to maintain an interactive and safe virtual space, each camp will be capped at 20 participants.
Are there any additional requirements?
Each camper must have their own device, webcam, headphones, and internet access. Accessing the programs by phone is not recommended.
After registering for camp online, you will receive a confirmation email that includes additional information and release forms. You must complete these additional forms before the first day of camp.
If you registered before May 27,2020, you will have one week from Friday, May 29, to change your camper's new camp slot. After this date, all changes or withdrawals will incur a $25 cancellation or change fee
If you have not purchased previously, please note that no refunds can be made for cancellations less than two weeks prior to the start of the selected camp. Each cancellation or change made more than two weeks before the first day of camp carries an administrative fee of $25. If you withdraw your child before the two-week deadline, you will receive a refund less the $25 fee.
Please note: Payment cannot be held as credit for future use. The camp cost will be refunded to the credit card used during registration.
Registration closes the Thursday prior to the camp start date. We do not perform Day-of-Camp registrations.
